Crown Jewel

Measuring your ring finger size

If you don’t know your ring finger size, it will be difficult to order jewellery that fits you, especially if this is your first time.

Before order your ring, you will need to find out your ring size, so that you can order your ring at the correct size in order to avoid disappointment.

Finding out your ring finger size is really simple.  However, there are some items that you will need.

You will need 4 items and they are:

  1. Thick string or a strip of paper
  2. Ruler or measuring tape
  3. Marker pen
  4. Calculator (use the one on your phone, tablet or computer)

The process

Wrap some of the string or the strip of paper around the base of the finger that you want to wear the ring on and mark the point where the ends meet with a pen. Measure the string or the strip of paper with a ruler or measuring tape.

Make sure that you note down your measurements in millimetres and then divide by 3.14 to get the diameter of the ring.

Pick the size that is closest to the measurement of your finger size.

Note: All fingers are different. If your knuckles are bigger than your finger size, make sure that you leave some space to get your ring over your knuckle.

Use the size chart to find your ring size.
